Goody Quikstyle
I received a free Goody Quikstyle brush with these fascinating microfiber bristles in my Holiday 2012 Voxbox from Influenster for free to try and review. So, here's my review.
If you're like me, you wash your hair and let it air dry because you know how dangerous blow dryers can be to the dry-haired ginger crowd. This brush makes that air-dry time significantly less. It cuts the dry time by 30% (according to their label), and sometimes even more (50% according to my own estimate). The microfiber bristles suck up all that extra moisture and the hard, plastic bristles straighten the snarls in your hair. It's great. A true double-whammy.
My only criticism is the need to clean and dry the brush. I'm extremely sensitive to mold spores and it seems that the microfiber, if left damp for too long, could easily become a danger zone for such things. It's pretty easy to clean, though, and I squeezed out the microfiber by pressing a pencil between the plastic bristles. I've had it for about two months now (maybe one month?) and had no issues. It's great!

I received this product from my Holiday 2012 Voxbox from Influenster for free in exchange for my review of how it works. I received the pink lemonade flavor. What surprised me was the fact that the product is fizzy! It reminded me of a yummy-flavored Alka Seltzer.
After I drank it, I definitely felt a genuine energy boost. If you use this at home, be fully prepared to workout within fifteen minutes or so of drinking it--it's that potent!
Enjoy!
Quaker Real Medleys
So, I received a sample of this in my Holiday 2012 Voxbox from Influenster. The purpose was to let me try it out so that I could review it for the world. I tried the pistachio cherry and was very impressed. Honestly, it tastes like the kind of oatmeal I make from scratch. When I make oatmeal, I mix it myself granola-style. This flavor is the same. Everything tastes fresh and new, and the texture is like homespun muesli.
What I like best about these is their convenience. I'm a green consumer with a goal of purchasing products in bulk which are in safe, reusable or recyclable containers. At the same time, I sometimes have to reach for convenience as my job carries me all over the state in which I live. It's not always feasible to make something from scratch or to pack something before I head out the door. The trick, then, is to find something I can grab that is delicious, wholesome, and relatively small in terms of carbon footprint. While I'm not thrilled at travel-sized packaging in general, I have to say I'd reach for Real Medleys over other options because at least the cardboard is recyclable (and easily).
The taste and texture is great. I'd highly recommend this to anyone!
